  • Are there any age restrictions?  

    • ​We are happy to accept riders of all ages and are equipped with life jackets in all sizes. However, in the case of special 21 and over events, you must be, well, 21 or older.  

  • How many people can the boat handle?  

    • The maximum capacity for each boat is 16.  Minimum 6 per cruise. 

    • There are 5 cycling stations on each side of the boat, which means that only 10 passengers can be cycling at once. Riders are welcome to sit, stand, or switch with cyclers at any time!

    • Additional seating is available when not cycling.

  • What about bad weather?  

    • Don't worry, the Cycleboat has a canopy to keep you dry! If the weather is deemed as too severe by our Cycleboat staff, a ride will be rescheduled. Bayou Boone Cycleboats pedal rain or shine! 

  • Can we bring our fur babies on board?

    • Yes you may!  We love our fur babies but they must be on a leash and well behaved.  Sorry folks, those fur babies that love to swim are going to have to wait till we dock. 

  • Do you provide the driver?  

    • ​We sure do. All Bayou Boone Cycleboat captains are US Coast Guard certified for small passenger vessel operation. Each tour will have a master captain. 

  • Can we leave a tip for the Captain and crew?  

    • ​Absolutely!  Please feel free to show your appreciation with a tip.

  • Is it difficult to pedal?

    • Not at all. There are no hills to go up out on the water, and we can raise or lower the paddle wheel to reduce or increase resistance.  PS...We have a motor.  

  • Can we bring food and drink onboard?  

    • All of our cruises are BYO...food and drink.  But all alcoholic drinks must be consumed on board.  ​

  • Cancellation Policy

    • Cancellations made within 5 days of the cruise will receive a full refund.

    • Cancellations made more than 2 days in advance of the cruise, but less than 5 days. Will receive a gift certificate for a future cruise.

    • No shows or cancellations made less than 2 days (48 hours) prior to a scheduled cruise will not be entitled to a refund.

    • If weather causes cancellation of your cruise, each passenger will be provided a gift certificate.
